The World Health Organization (WHO) is carrying out awareness and significance of this day by sharing success stories, insights on detection processes and preventive tips. Many organizationsuse Pink Label throughout their products, websites and buildings.

Awareness Activities on a Local Scale

Many Local Organizations, communities, Groups held programs to increase awareness to people to have understanding of Breast Cancer early diagnosis, preventive tips.

Importance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Early Detection
The whole month sets the foundation to detect cases by regular checkups and screening. It focuses on clinical breast exams and informational material to circulate that increase the chances to screened vulnerable cases.

Fundraising
This month is also observed for the sake of fundraising for awareness, treatment and preventive measures.

Empowerment
Breast cancer awareness month empowers individuals to take advantage of campaigns, promoting material which are conducted throughout the whole month.

Global Impact
Breast cancer awareness day has been observed since 1978. It has a Global impact as awareness, treatment and preventive measures.

Activities Conducted on Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Walkaways
These events have been organized to raise awareness and preventive tips by offering people to participate in races. Sponsors donate money for each participant and that money will expand for this cause.

Educational Events
These events have been conducted in Schools, Colleges, Universities and Educational institutions in the form of Seminars, Webinars and Workshops for the sake of Breast Cancer symptoms, detection and treatments.

Group Adherence
These group consist of members who join those groups to support for the cause of subject matter by the form of in person meetings or online interviews for those people who are infected by that disease to share their thoughts and experiences

Screenings
Spcifically in this month screenings conducted worldwide to identify cases which will result in diagnosing cases and to take necessary actions which can avoid severity of the cases by keepng preventing measures

Public Campaigns
These activities have been conducted to educate the general public by using social media platforms, Print Media and Digital ad campaigns to get involved in the pre screening process for this cause.

Symptoms of Breast Cancer

Change in Breast Size
If you notice the size of both or on a single breast increase or decrease. It may be an indication of this disease.

Redness OR Thickness of Skin
In this case if you notice Breast skin becomes Red Or Thickness of Skin hard.

Change in Appearance
In case you notice the appearance of your both or anyone of the breast change like change in Color or Change in Shape. It may also indicate early Breast cancer disease.

Redness OR Thickness of Skin
In this case if you notice Breast skin becomes Red Or Thickness of Skin hard.

Nipple Radiate
In case you notice anyone or both nipples radiate other than milk or blood. Then Consult your Doctor and explain this indication.

Redness OR Thickness of Skin
In this case if you notice Breast skin becomes Red Or Thickness of Skin hard.

Pain in the Breast
If you feel Pain in any of the breasts or beneath anyone’s Arm.

Swelling
If you notice swelling beneath the collarbone. It may also be an indication of Breast Cancer Disease.

Prevention Steps for Breast Cancer

Maintain Health
Maintain good health by including proper exercise in your daily life.

Healthy Diet
Take meals including protein fruits and vegetable

Alcohol
Do not take alcohol in your daily routine. It can be harmful for your chest.

Feed your Child
Feeding child can also help in reducing the chances of Breast Cancer

Smoking
Smoking is a big risk factor involved in Breast Cancer Disease. It is recommended practice to reduce smoking to stay away from Breast Cancer Disease.
